Our group PT sessions are designed to enhance your strength and your movement. Each of the sessions have a specific function and that is to enhance your strength or movement using well-founded scientific protocols.

We take care of every member of our group. We encourage, support and guide everyone to achieve their goals. The SiM community is where you get what you haven’t managed to get on your own and fill it with a whole lot of fun. Our Group PT Sessions are similar to 1 to 1 Personal training but you will find more of buzz around the place being involved in a group.

WHY CHOOSE STRENGHT IN MOVEMENT?

Group Personal TRAINING

The foundations of the SiM philosophy are small group sessions of six people, expert coaching, care, attention and education. We invest time with our members to ensure they secure maximum value from their commitment.

Community

SiM will provide a welcoming, comfortable, non-threatening and inclusive environment for first-time gym-goers, fitness enthusiasts, amateur athletes and elite athletes to allow them to achieve whatever goals they have.

FUNCTION

We develop strength using kettle bells, dumbbells, landmine barbells, resistance cables, slam balls, medicine balls, hammers, tyres and sometimes just yourself. Move better, feel better, look better.

WELLBEING

It is our goal to assist in the personal development of every person/entity who touches the SiM brand and promote the life enhancing properties of community spirit, support and fun, strength, movement, functional fitness, health and wellbeing.

I joined strength in movement about 3 months ago, I’ve tried countless times to get into gymming/exercising regularly but have never been able to stick to it. I’ve had the completely opposite experience with strength in movement, I feel so much more motivated because it’s such an easygoing, encouraging and fun environment to be in, I honestly look forward to my evening classes! Stephen and Shaun are incredibly knowledgeable and happy to answer any questions! I’ve also never been to a gym that offers optional social events like hiking, comedy nights, informative sessions, halloween parties, the list goes on! Obviously reaching your goal weight is a bonus, have been trying for 5 years to lose some weight, after 3 months with SIM I’ve lost almost 10kg, couldn’t recommend these guys enough. (They also make you a cup of tea if you’re early for a class, what more could you want?)

Joined strength in movement around 3 months ago, looking to lose weight for an upcoming holiday. Think I was a kick in the arse off 21st at the time, and I’m nearly down to 18st – I couldn’t have done it without Shaun n Stevie’s assistance. Two of the very best, approachable, knowledgable and sometimes funny guys! It’s because of them, and the community feel around the place that makes you want to sign up for your classes every week… the added bonus is of course the weight coming off, and looking and feeling good about yourself. It doesn’t stop at the studio doors! The boys put on hill walking days out, cold water therapy, informative seminars and nights out. I’ve never really like working out, but I feel all my inhibitions are taking care of when walking through the doors at strength in movement. Can’t recommend these guys enough!

Started training with Shaun and Stephen recently and they are brilliant. As someone who has never really stuck in at the gym they have been brilliant in building my confidence and knowledge in the best way to train and look after myself. Couldn’t recommend them more they are fantastic!
